La fin de l’année est arrivée.
Le CAP aura été bien actif cette année encore, pour soutenir l’école
Cousteau et sa communauté.
Durant l’année 2015-16, le CAP
a ajouté une deuxième journée de repas chaud soulageant ainsi les parents dans
leurs tâches quotidiennes des boites à lunch. Les retours ont été positifs et
parents et enfants sont satisfaits de la qualité et du choix des repas offerts
par C’est si Bon. Deux journées pizzas ont aussi été organisées. Merci au
comité de repas chauds et aux parents volontaires qui ont servi plus de 3200
repas au cours de l’année.
Les ventes de gâteaux nous ont
rapporté $3385. Cette somme a été utilisée pour financer les dernières sorties
de fin d’année et les camps organisés dans divers classes. Merci au comité
gâteau et aux parents qui ont pris le temps de confectionner des gâteaux
pour le plaisir de tous. L’année prochaine, le CAP s’engage à réfléchir sur la
vente de gâteaux ou autres petits plats salés ou sucrés pour la bonne santé de
tous. Toutes idées et suggestions seront les bienvenus.
Le CAP a aussi amassé
$2816 à travers divers projets de levée de fonds. Cette somme sera utilisée
l’année prochaine dans des projets à déterminer avec le corps
enseignant. A notez que $3000 recueillis lors de levées de fonds durant
l’année 2014-15 ont été utilisés pour financer divers projets pendant la
semaine de la musique. Merci au comité art card, au comité hoodie et t-shirt et
au comité fun night pour leur temps et énergie.
Le CAP a aussi été actif
pendant les différentes célébrations de l’année en soutien aux enseignants et
en resserrant les liens de la communauté Cousteau. Merci au comité d’halloween
et de Noël pour leurs touches magiques pendant les fêtes de fin
d’année. Merci aussi au comité kermesse de nous avoir offert un après-midi de
jeux et d’amusement pour le plaisir de tous.
Veuillez noter que les
collégiens ont recueilli $1073.53 dans leurs efforts de levée de fonds, pour financer leur voyage de fin d’année au
camp YMCA Elphistone. Merci à la famille Lamoureux pour leur don pour le stand
de hot dogs de la kermesse. L’éco-comité a amassé $498 qui ira financer des
actions qui s’inscriront dans le projet ‘’Eco school’’.

des activités du CAP. Ces résultats ne seraient pas possible sans la
contribution et l’aide de nombreux parents volontaires qui ont passé un nombre
incalculable d’heures à l’école. Un grand merci pour chacun d’eux.

Dear parents
The end of the school year has arrived.
The PAC has been very active on all front supporting Cousteau school and its
community.
In 2015-16, the PAC initiated a 2nd hot
lunch day helping parents with their daily lunch box chores. Feedback has been
very positive. Parents and children have been happy with the quality and
selection of the food prepared by C’est si Bon. Two pizza days was also
organised during the year. Thank you to the hot lunch committee and parent
volunteers who served over 3200 meals during the year.
Our bake sales during the year raised
$3385. This money has been used to finance various year-end field trips and
camping trips at all levels of the school. Thank you to the Bake sale committee
and parents who took the time to bake treats for all to enjoy. Over the coming
year, the PAC will be looking for ways to offer a larger and healthier
selection of treats to sell. Any ideas and suggestions are more than welcome.
The PAC also raised $2816 through other
fundraising projects. This money will be carried forward to next year on school
projects to be determined with the teaching staff. Please note that $3000
raised during the 2014-15 school year was used to finance the week of the
music. Thank you to the art card committee, the hoodies and t-shirts committee
and to the fun night committee for their time and energy.
The PAC was also active during various
festivities, supporting teachers and building a stronger Cousteau community.
Thank you to the Halloween and Christmas committees for their magical work
during this busy time of the year. A big applause goes to the kermesse
committee who put on an amazing afternoon of games and fun for all to enjoy.
Please note that the College students
raised $1073.53 to finance their year-end camping trip to YMCA Camp
Elphinstone. Thank you to the Lamoureux family for their contribution to the
kermesse hot dog stand. The Eco-committee also raised $498.90 to
finance future eco-projects at school.
Please find attached a brief summary of
the PAC activities. All of these achievements are only possible with the help
and support of numerous parent volunteers who spent countless hours at school.
