Chers parents,
Le CAP (Comité
d’Action des Parents) aimerait, en ce début d’année scolaire, souhaiter la
bienvenue à tous les parents, nouveaux et anciens.
Faire partie du CAP
constitue le meilleur moyen d’accumuler des heures de volontariat, participer
aux nombreuses activités de l’école, soutenir les projets de collecte de fonds
et, de façon générale, renforcer notre esprit de communauté.
Le CAP a tenu son
premier Café des Parents le mercredi 21 septembre.
Cette année, la
structure du CAP reste inchangée. Afin de maximiser la participation des
volontaires, le CAP est composé de comités chargés d’organiser et mener à bien
les grands projets de l’année. Certains événements sont organisés par l’école
avec le soutien du CAP tandis que d’autres initiatives sont conduites par le
CAP.
Pour chaque comité
CAP, un parent coordonnateur est nommé pour la durée de l’année scolaire et
assurera la transition vers l’année suivante.
Le Comité Exécutif
CAP (Jacky Sam-Weng, Christine Tam, Shelley Dallas, Rachel Tohmé et Florence
Chazal) est chargé d’encadrer les comités. Toute demande ou question de la part
de l’administration, des parents, des enseignants, des membres du Conseil, etc.

liste sera mise à jour régulièrement pendant l’année scolaire.
Les réunions du CAP
se tiennent le premier mercredi du
mois à 9h en salle des maîtres.
Les réunions sont ouvertes à tous les parents. Les dates des prochaines
réunions sont indiquées dans le calendrier du blog de l’école.

Dear
parents,
The PAC
(Parent Action Committee) would like to welcome all new and returning parents
to the school this year.
Being
part of the PAC is a great way to collect volunteer hours, participate in the
school many activities, support fundraising projects and foster community
spirit.
The PAC
held its first Café des Parents on Wednesday, September 21st.
This
year, the PAC structure remains the same. In order to maximize volunteers’
participation, the PAC is composed of committees in charge of organizing and
leading the big projects for the year. Some of the activities or events are
organized by the school with the support of the PAC while others are run by the
PAC.
All PAC
committees are headed by a coordinating member who is committed for the
duration of the school year and set to pass the baton to new parents for the
next school year.
Guidance
to all these committees is provided by the Executive PAC Committee (Jacky
Sam-Weng, Christine Tam, Shelley Dallas ,Rachel Tohmé and Florence Chazal). Requests or questions from
administration, parents, teachers, Board members, etc. can be directed to the
PAC Executive Committee via email at the following address:

these committees are still in need of volunteers and coordinators. Please refer
to the sign-up available through the school blog under the tab
“volunteering”. The
sign-up will be updated regularly throughout the school year.
The PAC
meetings are generally held on the first Wednesday of every month at 9am in the staff
room. The meetings are
open to all parents. The dates for the meetings are included in the calendar
from the school blog.
