Vous avez reçu votre invitation officielle à la soirée de lancement de l'Éco-Comité Cousteau qui se tiendra le 21 octobre prochain. Il s'agit de la 1ère étape du programme Éco-École dans lequel l'école Cousteau a décidé de s'engager.
Cette soirée sera l'occasion de vous en dire plus au sujet de ce programme d'éducation au développement durable, pour et par nos élèves, qui engagera l'école sur un processus à long terme.

Pour les enfants dont les parents participeront à la soirée de lancement, l’école offre une soirée cinéma avec buffet de sandwiches de 17h30 à 19h30. Le dîner des enfants et la projection de deux films, qui s’inscrivent dans le cadre de notre philosophie de développement durable (au choix selon l’âge), seront supervisés par certains de nos anciens élèves encadrés par des adultes. Cette soirée sera exclusivement réservée aux enfants dont les parents prendront part à la soirée de lancement de l'Éco-Comité Cousteau.
Pour les parents désirant bénéficier de façon exceptionnelle du service de garderie habituel entre la fin des classes et le début de la soirée cinéma, de 15h30 à 17h30, il faudra également inscrire votre enfant à ce service afin que nous puissions anticiper le nombre de surveillants nécessaires pour l'encadrement. Merci de noter que ce service sera facturé au tarif habituel de 8$/h et qu’en raison du nombre limité de places, la priorité sera accordée aux parents qui se porteront volontaires pour l’organisation de la soirée. Un appel à volontaires sera lancé dans les prochains jours.

Cousteau will host a movie night, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, for the children whose parents will be attending the Eco-Committee launch (unfortunately, not for children whose parents cannot attend). According to their ages, the children will have a choice between two movies consistent with our sustainability spirit. A sandwich buffet will also be available. There will be adult and alumni supervision for the dinner and screening.
If you want your child to stay for the usual after-school care between 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm, please register your child, so that we can anticipate the correct number of monitors needed. Please note that the after-school care will be billed the usual price of $8/h and that, due to limited spots, priority will be given to children of the parent volunteers who are helping to organize the event. We will launch a call for volunteers soon.
