Les GS/CP ont trouvé des limaces dans la forêt et les ont mises dans un pot. Il y avait des limaces noires et des limaces banane. Ils ont aussi trouvé des vers de terre et des escargots.
Ensuite, ils sont retournés au centre pour les regarder avec une loupe.
La limace aime l’eau. Elle a un trou sur le côté pour respirer. Quand elle a peur, elle danse. Elle mange des feuilles, des champignons, des fleurs, des fruits, des légumes, des sandwichs et des crottes d’animaux.
La journée s’est bien passée. Cette sortie était très bien !

The students in Kindergarten and in Grade 1 found slugs in the forest and put them in a jar. There were black and banana slugs. They also found worms and snails.
Then, they came back at the Centre to examine them with a magnifying glass.
Slugs like water. They have a hole on the side to breathe. They dance when they are scared. They eat leaves, mushrooms, flowers, fruits, vegetables, sandwiches and animal droppings.
Everything was alright. The field trip was awesome!
