Chers Parents et Membres de Cousteau, L’École Française Internationale de Vancouver,
Au nom du Conseil d’administration, j’ai le plaisir de vous convier à l’Assemblée Générale Annuelle de Cousteau, L’École Française Internationale de Vancouver, qui aura lieu :
Le lundi 16 novembre 2015 à 18h
à l’école, 3657 Fromme Road, North Vancouver

Lors de cette Assemblée Générale, nous élirons quatre nouveaux membres du Conseil d’administration. Les postes vacants seront pourvus de façon concertée lors de la première réunion du nouveau Conseil d’administration. Veuillez néanmoins noter que les responsabilités suivantes seront attribuées :
• Secrétariat et communication (bilinguisme fortement souhaité)
• Trésorerie
• Ressources Humaines / Levée de fonds
• Marketing
Les personnes désirant se présenter à cette élection doivent obligatoirement être Membres actifs de la Société Cousteau. Conformément aux statuts de la Société, chaque parent/tuteur d’enfants inscrits à Cousteau, L’École Française Internationale Cousteau de Vancouver, est Membre actif de la Société et peut donc voter, se présenter à l’élection et être mandataire d’un autre Membre, dans la limite de cinq procurations par personne.
Les candidats devront remplir le formulaire de candidature, y joindre une page de présentation (une courte biographie incluant les motivations de la candidature, idéalement à l’un des postes cités ci-dessus, les apports envisagés pour le Conseil d’Administration et les réalisations potentielles anticipées en tant que membre) et renvoyer le tout à la Présidente du Conseil d’administration avant le 9 novembre 2015, afin de nous permettre de diffuser ces informations à toute la communauté. Nous rappelons aux candidats qu’ils s’engagent à honorer un mandat de 2 ans s’ils étaient élus.

Dear Parents and Members of L’École Française Internationale Cousteau de Vancouver,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to invite you to the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of Cousteau, L’Ecole Française Internationale de Vancouver, which will be held:
Monday, November 16th, 2015 at 6:00 p.m.
at the School, 3657 Fromme Road, North Vancouver
Accordingly, please find enclosed:
Four new Board members will be elected at the AGM. Although the responsibilities will be assigned during the first meeting held by the new Board, please note that the following positions need to be filled:
• Secretary and Communications Director (fluency in both English and French highly desirable)
• Treasurer
• Human Resources and Fundraising Director
• Marketing Officer
The election is open to any active Member of the Society. As per the Society By-laws, each parent/guardian of children registered at Cousteau, L’École Française Internationale de Vancouver, is an Active Member of the Society and can therefore vote, be a candidate or serve as a proxy for another Member, with a maximum of five proxies per person.
Candidates should complete a candidacy form, provide a one-page presentation letter (a short bio which includes why they would like to be on the Board, ideally in one of the positions listed above, what they hope to bring to the Board and achieve as a Board member) and submit them to the Board President by November 9th, so that we may send out the information to the community. We remind all the candidates that they commit to a 2-year mandate if elected.
